Welcome to Ozoya Football Foundation
Ozoya Football Foundation is a non-profit football organization based in Nigeria. Our primary focus is grassroots football development, aiming to provide opportunities for young athletes to display their talents. We organize leagues, local football tournaments, youth football competitions, and football coaching and referees programs to ensure the holistic development of young players.
We believe in the power of sports to bring communities together and foster positive change. Through donations of football kits and equipment, and community sports development projects, we support underprivileged youth in Nigeria, giving them a platform to excel.
Our History
We believe that the change being sought for in the world can only be achieved by those we call children today, for us, this means that we must invest in the lives of children with a language that they commonly understand which is football. We have used football in every aspect of life including education, health, life-skill, social interaction, love, co-existence, and peace and this is what we preach. Secondly, we strongly see that through this, everyone will actualize their potential and live free from poverty in a secured and more equitable world.
Our Mission
To identify the most vulnerable children affected by natural disasters or conflict whose lives and support systems are disrupted.
We desire to create a meaning to life for these children by identifying their interest in football as we believe that football stimulates a positive and protective environment for children; subsequently improving their life skills, cognition, health, confidence, emotion and keeping them away from all form of negative coping activities that emanate from the consequences of a broken society.

Our Vision
To provide psycho-social support for children affected by crises through football.

Aims and Objectives
- To use football to promote all sustainable development goals (SDG) as we believe that children are affected by all the SDGs whether poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, and violence against children.
- To use football to advocate for the convention of the right of a child (CRC).
- Become one of the fastest responders to provide psycho-social support to children during and after emergencies in a humanitarian situation.
- To help children gain resilience from the impact of disasters and /or conflict through football.
- To strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms to become more responsive to the protection of children in their communities through intense child protection-related awareness creation through football.
- To help children actualize their dream to become prominent people in different works of life including sports (football).
- To provide empirical and pragmatic data through well-informed research, dialogues, and conferences in line with children, football and other trends that support or affect the development of children.
- To promote grassroots football in developing countries.
To provide space for children affected by the humanitarian situations to compete in football globally.
